    I hope this isn't the expression they got when they said "Smile for the Camera."  What a scowl.  This is a vintage carte de visite or CDV photograph taken by the photographer Paxton in Albany, Oregon during the 1870s or 1880s.  It is in excellent condition with no bends, tears, creases, stains or writing on it.
